SAN DIEGO– Authorities placed evacuations in an area of downtown San Diego after responding to a gas leak Saturday.
Crews responded to the scene at the intersection of 5th Avenue and E Street just after 1 p.m.
Authorities determined it was a natural gas leak.
At least one building were evacuated, officials confirmed to FOX 5.
Residents were asked to avoid the area.
