The family of missing teen Trinity Poil has sent her laptop to a lab in British Columbia to try to glean more information on what happened in the days leading to Poil’s disappearance.Poil, 17, has been missing from her family home at Garrison Petawawa since Feb.13. She is on the autism spectrum and seemingly left in the middle of the night and disappeared into a snowstorm.Her parents have been searching for her since, as have military police and the larger community with strangers across the country circulating posters of the missing child online.On Thursday, a Facebook group dedicated to finding her posted an update.“Today is a momentous day! Trinity’s laptop is currently on its long journey to B.C. Today, thanks to all the wonderful people who donated to the Gofundme, we were able to send out Trinity’s laptop for a second look with a private company!!” the post said.“We pray it will bring us something to understand why she left and lead us to where she is. The support of the community and the nation has been absolutely amazing and has helped keep our hope and spirits up through this absolute nightmare.”That Gofundme campaign began on March 20, with the expressed goal of raising money to help in the search to located Poil, and has raised nearly $2,000 to date.
