VANCOUVER, B.C.: Saturday, April 27. Today’s weather is going to be windy, with gusts of up to 80 km/h in some parts of the region. Environment Canada has posted a special weather statement for Metro Vancouver, saying the region can expect strong northwesterly winds of 60 km/h gusting up to to 80 km/h to funnel down the Georgia Strait and impact Metro Vancouver Saturday morning. The winds will continue throughout the day, the agency said, and weaken in the evening.The agency warns that local power outages and downed trees are possible.Apart from the wind, Saturday looks mainly sunny, with a high of 12 C. Overnight, more wind is expected and a low of 5 C. Sunday should be much calmer, with sunny, clear skies and a high of 15 C. Monday and Tuesday also look sunny and a warm 16 C both days.Weather: Vancouver, B.C.
