A parrot has died in a west-end house fire Sunday that displaced five people.The cause is unknown.Windsor Fire and Rescue Services was called to the home at 1365 Donnelly St. just after midnight Sunday. Crews had the fire, which began in the basement, under control in less than an hour.Five people and two dogs were displaced, Windsor’s chief fire prevention officer John Lee wrote on Twitter early Sunday morning. None of the people were injured.Investigators estimated damage at $80,000. They were unable to determine what started the fire.Related
