Officers responded to the 14800 block of East Kentucky Drive on Sunday evening, where they found an adult male victim suffering a stab wound, police said in the release. The male was transported to a hospital, where he died from his injuries, police added.
Aurora police said in the release that it was an “isolated incident” and no one is in custody, but that they aren’t looking for any suspects in the ongoing investigation.
The Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office will identify the victim after his next-of-kin has been notified, the release added.
The Aurora Police Major Crimes/Homicide Unit is investigating and asked anyone who was a witness, or may have information about the homicide, to call Aurora police agent Jamie Krieger at 303-739-6113, police said in the release.
