These four new lunches and a brunch can help you power through the work week. They include some of our favorite new pizzas in town; next-level Italian (with half-glass wine pairings); and platters of addictive Middle Eastern dips, spreads and pitas.

Denver’s newest Israeli restaurant, Ash’Kara in the Highland, is now serving a weekly brunch along with its nightly dinners. On Sundays, you can find shareable plates like smoked sable fish on an “everything” pita and a Kibbutz Breakfast with babaganoush, labneh, tabbouleh and avocado. Famous Original J’s started serving its pizza lunch last week in Five Points. Customers can order at the window and eat outside on the patio at 715 Club. Try the white or margherita, in whole pie form or slices. 715 E. 26th Ave., 720-420-9102; starting at 11 a.m. Tuesday through Sunday

D.C. Pie Co. on East Colfax has extended its current weekend lunch hours to Thursday and Friday. The thin-crust, brick-oven pizzas are now available on an outdoor patio at East Colfax Avenue and York Street alongside salads, wings and pepperoni chips. Plus, the pizza shop has a new spritz program, served in carafes to share and flavors like blueberry-basil, basil-lemon and mint-cucumber. 2223 E. Il Posto in RiNo starts serving lunch on Friday. Burrata, charred octopus and pesto orecchiette are some of the plates it offers. Midday diners can splurge on the $45 four-course chef’s counter lunch with half-glass wine pairings. 2601 Larimer St., 303-394-0100; 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
And Uptown’s fish-frying bar and restaurant, Shanty Supper Club, starts serving lunch next week. Diners can order half-sized apps like cheese curds and pretzel bites or new lunch entrees such as Walleye po’ boys, Wisconsin butter burgers and pot roasts.
