A third person has been charged in connection with the murder of Bhaviran Dhesi.According to updated court records, Inderdeep Kaur Deo, a 24-year-old woman, has been added to the list of accused in the Dhesi file. She now faces a charge of accessory after the fact to murder, alongside Manjit Kaur Deo. Harjot Singh Deo faces a charge of second-degree murder.Harjot Singh Deo, 21, was arrested May 10 and charged with second-degree murder in the 2017 killing of Dhesi. The pair were dating at the time of her death.His mother Manjit Kaur Deo, 53, was arrested May 17 and charged with accessory after the fact to murder.Cpl. Frank Jang with the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team confirmed last week that Manjit Kaur Deo is the mother of Harjot Singh Deo. It has not been confirmed how Inderdeep Deo is related to the other two accused.Related
Homicide investigators are expected to share more information on Monday.All three individuals now remain in custody. Inderdeep Kaur Deo is expected back in court on May 30.Dhesi was last seen by her family around 9 a.m. on Aug. 1, 2017 leaving home. A few hours later, an SUV she was driving was found on fire in South Surrey.
