A pedestrian died after being struck by a car Tuesday night at West 14th Avenue and Federal Boulevard in Denver.
The pedestrian was crossing Federal Boulevard in a crosswalk but did not have the signal to designate his right-of-way, said Doug Shepman, a Denver police spokesman. The man was hit by a van, which had the green light and the right-of-way, Shepman said. The crash happened around 9:20 p.m.
The van driver stopped. There was no indication that the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol, Shepman said. No arrests have been made in connection with the crash.
