A look at the candidates in the five races – The Denver Post

Tuesday’s elections will place at least two newcomers on the Denver City Council, as finalists vie for open seats in west and northwest Denver.
But the change could be even greater: incumbent council members Albus Brooks, Wayne New and Mary Beth Susman were forced into runoffs in their districts.
Altogether, it’s the broadest threat to incumbent council members in years, and the races are running hottest in areas seeing the most redevelopment. Here’s what you need to know.
