Those commuting in the city this weekend should take note of projects that will surely complicate plans, especially on Saturday night as Montreal’s International Fireworks Competition goes out with a bang. Highway 720Highway 720 and Highway 20 West will be completely closed between Exit 5 (Robert-Bourassa Blvd., Champlain Bridge) and the entrance to the ramp from Route 138 East, in the St-Pierre Interchange. The closure will last from 11:59 p.m. on Friday to 5 a.m. on Monday. Highway 20Highway 20 East will be completely closed between Exit 63 (Mercier Bridge) and the entrance to Angrignon Blvd. from Friday at 11:59 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m.Two out of three lanes on Highway 20 East between Exit 60 (Highway 13) and 62 (1st Ave.) will also be closed at that time. Highway 13Two of the four northbound lanes of the Louis-Bisson Bridge will be closed from Friday at 7 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m. One of the three southbound lanes of the bridge will also be closed during that time. FireworksOn Saturday, the Jacques-Cartier Bridge will be completely closed from 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. for fireworks.
