After almost exactly three years in operation, it appears that nationwide chain World of Beer has pulled out of Lowertown.
A sign on the restaurant’s door advertised a fire sale earlier this week, with everything half off. It then said, “We will be closing for several weeks for an exciting new rebrand!” (It’s technically not a rebrand, however, since a national chain cannot be rebranded.)
World of Beer in Lowertown was known for its 500 bottles of beer and 50 rotating taps. It also had a menu of upscale bar food with suggested beer pairings.
