Police in Kelowna are searching for the driver of an orange Infiniti FX that allegedly failed to stop after a cyclist was hit on Saturday.According to RCMP, the hit-and-run took place on Saturday around 7:07 a.m. in the 800-block of Clifton Road.A cyclist was headed north along Clifton when she was struck by a passing vehicle. The cyclist, a woman in her 50s, was taken to hospital for treatment and is expected to recover from her non-life threatening injuries.“The preliminary investigation has revealed a possible description for the suspect vehicle that failed to stop or remain at the scene and render assistance to the injured cyclist,” said Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey.Investigators believed the vehicle was an orange Infinity FX35 or FX45, about 10- to 15-years-old. The vehicle will likely have “notable damage” to its front passenger quarter panel and wheel well.Anyone who witnessed the collision or who recognizes the vehicle is asked to contact investigators at firstname.lastname@example.org/stephanie_ip
