The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said it’s looking for a San Jacinto man suspected in an attempted kidnapping incident Tuesday — the same man arrested in a child annoyance incident Sunday and who had bailed out of jail.

In a statement late Tuesday, the Sheriff’s Department said Billie Fenter, 40, was arrested Sunday after San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station deputies responded at about 12:34 p.m. to the area of Esplanade and San Jacinto avenues on a report that a man was seen trying to lure a juvenile, 15, into his vehicle. Fenter was located and booked on suspicion of annoying and molesting a child.
On Tuesday, deputies were sent to the same area on a report of an attempted kidnapping. The circumstances were similar to the Sunday incident with the suspect’s physical and vehicle description matching, the statement said.
“The victim positively identified Billy Fenter as the same suspect,” a sheriff’s statement said, adding deputies Tuesday learned Fenter had bailed out of jail on Monday.
The Sheriff’s Department said it’s seeking the public’s help in locating Fenter, who it said was seen in a black four-door Nissan Sentra with Arizona plate number CEJ2788.
Anyone with information regarding the location of Fenter was encouraged to contact the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station, attention Deputy Bordeau, at 951-776-1099.
