A look at today’s Edmonton weather by Environment Canada.Thursday morning temperatures at the Edmonton Blatchford station measured 15.0 C with 13 km/h winds out of the southeast. If the long-term forecast is to be believed, today might be the last time we see 20 C temperatures for a bit. Forecasters are calling for a high today of 23 C but it will feel closer to 26 with the Humidex. Oh, and there’s a chance of evening thunderstorm too.Things sort of take a turn for the cool over the next few days, as August picks up right where July left off meaning more cloud and rain, and cloud and rain, and single digit lows, and cloud and rain. It’s a vicious cycle. Thank goodness I put up those patio lanterns (now you have that Kim Mitchell song stuck in your head, you’re welcome) on my deck last weekend so we can enjoy them while I sit inside and long for sunnier days. Sigh. But until then, those patio lanterns are the stars in the sky.E: firstname.lastname@example.orgT: TrevorRobb_Today’s forecastToday: Cloudy with 60 per cent chance of showers early this morning then a mix of sun and cloud.
