Longueuil police have turned to the public to see if a sexual assault suspect arrested last Friday had other victims.Normand Brunet, 59, of St-Mathias-sur-Richelieu and up until recently chairman of the Collège Français de Longueuil’s AAA junior hockey league, was arrested in connection with a series of sexual offences committed on a minor between 2007 and 2014. He faces charges of sexual assault, sexual contact with a child, inciting a child to sexual contact and making sexual material available to a child.He was ordered by the court to observe certain conditions and was released pending his next court appearance.Police are urging anyone who may have been a victim or knows of other, similar incidents involving Brunet to contact them at 450-463-7211. Investigators say the identity of the victim at the centre of the current case and that of any other will be protected.Related
