Travis Toews was raised in the Beaverlodge area on the family farm. After college and university in Edmonton, Travis and his wife, Kim, moved back to the Grande Prairie area to begin their professional careers and raise their family. Travis spent twelve years in a public accounting practice in Grande Prairie and currently maintains a CPA, CMA accounting designation. In the past fifteen years, Travis and Kim have invested in, managed and grown a corporate family cattle ranching operation and an oilfield environmental company. Travis has served as a Director on a number of local non-profit boards, as well as provincial and national industry boards and committees. He was elected President of the Canadian Cattlemen’s Association in 2010 and served until the term end in 2012. Travis was elected as MLA for Grande Prairie-Wapiti in the spring of 2019 and shortly thereafter was appointed to Cabinet as Finance Minister and President of Treasury Board.It’s Tuesday night, what are you having for dinner?
